Debbie Hughbanks, a gifted western and wildlife artist residing in northeastern Washington State, was inspired by her respect for animals of all kinds, as well as her knowledge of the spiritual bond that Native Americans have always felt with animals.

The bear is seen as a source of power, while the buffalo symbolizes wisdom. The eagle is a visionary who sees the world with clarity, and the wolf teaches cooperation and the value of the extended family.
