This "Trail of the Painted Ponies Book(tm)" - (4th printing) is
a wonderful collection of stories and pictures of the Painted
Pony art collection. You may be familiar with these dazzling
Painted Ponies of New Mexico. I have recently added this book
to our Equestrian store for horse and Painted Pony lovers to

This book includes the
photographs and stores behind many of the Painted Ponies created
for the Santa Fe, NM community art project. The stories include
the inspiration of the artists who created the equine masterpieces.
The book has 96 full color pages and is sure to be a hit with
your friends who read it - horse lovers or not.
When I read this book,
I thought the 4th Edition meant the stories of the 4th Group
of Figurines. NOT
so, this 122
page book tells about the artist inspiration behind creating
many of the entire collection of life-size horses, as well as,
those which have been made into figurines. The pages are full
of colored pictures, and stories of the art and style these artists
enjoy. There are 100's of sculptures that have been painted and
this community project in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is still growing.
